Experience

Too often languages are seen as too much of a challenge! Throughout my career, I have endeavoured to support learners in a way that empowers them with considerable success.

I worked for Sir John Colfox School for 20 years, teaching advanced and bilingual students, preparing them to take their French GCSE and A’ level with great results.

Now, as a private independent tutor,I aim to improve confidence whilst increasing knowledge and understanding of French. In order for students to enjoy themselves, to learn and feel motivated, I adapt content in practical and engaging ways to facilitate each individual learner.

I thrive on building a friendly, supportive and nurturing environment where each learner will feel safe to make mistakes and develop their language skills.
